lpyout documentation ================== ``lpyout`` is a library for easily creating grids in Python and managing grid coordinates so you do not have to worry about them when desiging your game. Why --- Grids play a fundamental role in layout for games and other applications. Consider you want to make a menu screen for a game. One approach is to first subdivide the screen into grids to figure out where to place buttons and game art. This is certainly doable manually, but involves a lot of tedium to keep track of the coordinates relative to the screen for where to place items. ``lpyout`` significantly reduces the amount of time you need to worry about coordinates and instead let's you focus on creating flexible layouts. .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :caption: Contents: Contents -------- .. toctree:: basic api
